Hello! My name is Jeni Moore and I am excited to be close to completing the IDT master’s program at ESU. After graduating from ESU in 2002 with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, I taught first grade in the Olathe school district. I returned to ESU to complete my Masters in Reading specialization in 2008, and for the past 13 years, I have been teaching Early Childhood/Preschool. I am excited to work with the Kansas Masonic Literacy Center to create the Growing Brain parent education videos. Upon completing the IDT master’s program I hope to find a career teaching elementary students online through an established virtual-learning model. Needless to say, technology has changed a LOT since I began teaching over 20 years ago, so this has been an incredible learning experience for me.
