Stephanie wixon

I am a fluent Spanish speaker, who has been a Spanish educator for over ten years. Prior to my current position, I lived and worked in El Salvador assisting the facilitation of an after school English program. I believe in the importance of cultural awareness and language learning. My passions are equity in education, education technology, inclusion and celebration of all cultures, quality instructional design, and accessible learning for all. I believe that learning should be engaging, and should empower and encourage learners to reach their highest potential. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern University, and will soon complete my Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University.
